From kick-off to orbit in <7 months.
For Outpost’s first two CubeSat missions, I led the mechanical design, manufacturing, system assembly/integration, system testing, and launch vehicle integration.
Mission 1
“Failure Is An Option” flew on SpaceX Transporter 8, and featured the first Carbon Fiber CubeSat frame to go to space (which I was solely responsible for developing).
Mission 2
“Debug As You Go” flew on SpaceX Transporter 9, and went from design kickoff to finishing testing in ~3 months. I served as the Responsible Engineer for this project during the AI&T phase.
